Council agrees not to pursue all-Gaelic School for Argyll and Bute

¹ú²úÊÓÆµ confirmed its ongoing commitment to promoting Gaelic language and culture throughout the area. However, following an extensive 10-week public consultation, at full council today, Councillors agreed not to pursue a dedicated Gaelic School at this time.

Council to bid for Clipper Race to return in 2026

¹ú²úÊÓÆµ has hailed the arrival of the Clipper Round the World Yacht Race in Oban earlier this summer as a roaring success and councillors have agreed to consider a proposal to make a bid for the event to return to the town in 2026.
